I've ordered the Salmon Ikura Don. The salmon slices were badly sliced and the slice of each piece was uneven. It even taste stale. I totally can't taste the sweetness of the fish at all. The ikura is equally disappointing. It's not fresh and it doesn't really burst in your mouth if you know what I mean. It also has a bitter after taste. And the rice? OMG! Too much vinegar in the rice and the rice was so super compact into the bowl. I don't think this can even be considered as japanese rice. I can't even pick a mouthful of rice with my chopsticks at all. It was so bad that this is how much was left untouched. I think if I use it to make it into a rice ball I could easily kill someone with it.

I thot the Cha Soba might be better than my Salmon Ikura Don. Boy! Was I wrong too. It's just a milder version of Wrigley's chewing gum. Trying too hard to be al dante.

Finally the dessert! I was thinking again how wrong could it be with pre-packed food? Guess what? I was wrong again! I thot I was chewing on a baseball! Maybe if I try throwing it on the floor it might bounce like a marble and start rolling off under the table.
As for the service quality? I do not know how best I could describe it. You can see staff gathering at the entrance talking away while you are trying damn hard to get their attention. Made me felt like I'm back to school raising my hand and waving damn hard to get someone's attention. Come to think of it. Even my teachers in school react faster than the waiters and waitress.
I guess Suki Sushi did not even consider getting any water jugs as well. Each time they refill your glass of ice water, they had to take your glass to some secretive corner to refill it. It really makes me wonder at the end of the day did I get back my own glass. Would I end up drinking my water from someone else's glass?
Just when I thot that Sakae Sushi was at the bottom of the ladder, Suki Sushi really gave me a big surprise. This is the first and the last time I'll ever stepped into a Suki Sushi restaurant.
Oh yes! Actually the only thing that I do not have any complains on the quality is that glass of ice water I had. It tasted really good and really helps me to wash away the bad taste in my mouth from all the above non-edible food.

double bay serve mainly 'Live' Fish & Chips. The fish comes with choice of Beer Batter, Sumac & Coriander Batter or Breaded.
To truly enjoy the taste of fresh fish, the flesh should be almost unseasoned so as to bring out the original taste of the different fish species. To the undiscerning, this may be misunderstood to produce a bland taste. However, for those who love fish, this will allow them to savour the natural taste of these fishes.
Flesh Texture: Soft, white, Less Fatty, Less Flaky
I've chosen the Beer Batter. But as they have introduced. You can only taste the freshness of the fish. The taste of the beer batter can hardly even cover the original taste of the fish. I quite enjoy the fish tho. As for the fries, if you do not want a heart attack I suggest you leave them alone.

Seafood Jungle - S$16.50I will definitely go for Seafood Jungle again the next time round when I visit Out of the Pan again!

Sichuan Veg with Shredded Meat Lamian - S$4.00The soup base is very aromatic. This is due to the sichuan vegetables and the shredded meat. The taste of the soup is just right. I was afraid it might be too salty but to my surprised it's not.
The noodles are also very chewy aka QQ. Just something to note for those who loves their noodles to be chewy, do not wait too long to finish up the noodles or let the noodles sit in the soup for too long as it will get soggy.
Onion Pancake(葱油饼)- S$3.00
I like the onion pancake. Maybe it's freshly made as well. It's served piping hot and crispy! It has a nice taste of a prata with spring onions! Smells great too! I'll definitely order this the next time I visit Lavender Food Centre.
I'll try their Xiao Long Bao and Guo Tie the next time I'm there!

Chicken & Sausage Combo - S$12.90
This combo comes with a charbroiled chicken thigh, 6 sauages and 2 sides. This is definitely value for money.
I simply love their sausages. It's very very tender and moist. Crispy skin on the outside and juicy on the inside! Haha! So much different from the ones I had @ Ma Maison.
The charbroiled chicken thigh is not bad but I find it a little bit dry for my liking. You guys should try the charbroiled chicken @ BBQ Chicken.
As for the sides, I enjoyed the pasta salad a lot. Wished I had ordered 2 portion of the pasta salad instead of the onion rings.

Sausages doesn't look too appetizing does it? It's a little over done and they are kinda tough. The sauce doesn't really goes well with the sauages too. I wouldn't order this dish again for sure.
Hamburger Steak (160g) - S$16.00
This dish is listed on the menu as one of their specialities. The steak is made up of minced beef and pork topped with their 'brown sauce'. Their homemade 'brown sauce' is stewed carefully for twenty-eight days following traditional recipe. It is known to add a rich taste to their meat dishes.
An overpowering taste of the herb seasoning can be found upon the first bite of the steak. By the fourth and fifth mouthful I felt like giving up on the steak. The seasoning is a tad too strong. Their homemade 'brown sauce' is not exactly very speical too. But it definitely did managed to cover up the overpowering taste of the seasoning in the hamburger steak.
The sunny side up is not very sunny too. It's over done. I love my yoke to be runny.
The bake potatoes are plain. Very plain. I still preferred the bake potatoes that were done by Chef Wayne Nish. Well can't really compare what is being prepared by a normal chef to a Michelin Chef.
Didn't touched the carrots. No comments.

Ma Maison Spaghetti - S$15.20
Finally something that look tempting to me. Some of the ingredients are: Shimeji Mushrooms, Onion, Carrot & Slice Chicken with Brown Sauce. In this dish the 'brown sauce' does indeed taste good. I love my pasta that is cooked al dente and I'll definitely come back for more of their pasta! The pasta is a bit oily tho. Not sure if they had added olive oil to the dish or just cooking oil. For those who hates oily food, just take note ya!
