Lets put it this way. Maybe I'm being spoilt for choices when it comes to good quality Japanese food. I've been introduced to many good quality Japanese food by Henry. My company has decided to go for a get together dinner at Suki Sushi. I was extremely disappointed as it has failed to deliver any edible standard for the food we had ordered.

I've ordered the Salmon Ikura Don. The salmon slices were badly sliced and the slice of each piece was uneven. It even taste stale. I totally can't taste the sweetness of the fish at all. The ikura is equally disappointing. It's not fresh and it doesn't really burst in your mouth if you know what I mean. It also has a bitter after taste. And the rice? OMG! Too much vinegar in the rice and the rice was so super compact into the bowl. I don't think this can even be considered as japanese rice. I can't even pick a mouthful of rice with my chopsticks at all. It was so bad that this is how much was left untouched. I think if I use it to make it into a rice ball I could easily kill someone with it.

I thot the Cha Soba might be better than my Salmon Ikura Don. Boy! Was I wrong too. It's just a milder version of Wrigley's chewing gum. Trying too hard to be al dante.

Finally the dessert! I was thinking again how wrong could it be with pre-packed food? Guess what? I was wrong again! I thot I was chewing on a baseball! Maybe if I try throwing it on the floor it might bounce like a marble and start rolling off under the table.
As for the service quality? I do not know how best I could describe it. You can see staff gathering at the entrance talking away while you are trying damn hard to get their attention. Made me felt like I'm back to school raising my hand and waving damn hard to get someone's attention. Come to think of it. Even my teachers in school react faster than the waiters and waitress.
I guess Suki Sushi did not even consider getting any water jugs as well. Each time they refill your glass of ice water, they had to take your glass to some secretive corner to refill it. It really makes me wonder at the end of the day did I get back my own glass. Would I end up drinking my water from someone else's glass?
Just when I thot that Sakae Sushi was at the bottom of the ladder, Suki Sushi really gave me a big surprise. This is the first and the last time I'll ever stepped into a Suki Sushi restaurant.
Oh yes! Actually the only thing that I do not have any complains on the quality is that glass of ice water I had. It tasted really good and really helps me to wash away the bad taste in my mouth from all the above non-edible food.
